The purists among you believe advertising via blogs is offensive. Admittedly, I choose to pursue capitalism. I realize the pennies I earn here won't alter my lifestyle, but they will provide self-satisfaction. BTW, I spend more time on the computer than engaged in quality time with my teenager, therefore I use my commissions to buy her things she wants but does not need. Like most modern teenagers, she rates her folks' collective IQs as Borderline Deficient, exploiting our inadequacies for every last cent. If given enough verbal ammunition and a well-rehearsed whine, Kaity can badger her parents for ~~just about anything~~ lots of stuff. A fan of popular culture, she recognizes materialism is ubiquitous compared to moral fiber or character. Undaunted, she flaunts her cell phone and iPod at school, causing less fortunate students to loathe her. I've done my job as an American parent. Thank you.
